Born a Rooster-Taurus on May 11th, year 1981. The last child in the family of 6 people - I have 3 elder sisters - 2 nephews & 1 niece.
Dad has been a teacher all his life, tried to be a security guard when he retired, but it was a whole day’s work (unlike teaching which is half day) and so, it didn’t fit him quite right. So currently, dad has been doing relief teaching @ PRSS.
Career:
Do I have one? Well, been here, done that.
From Singapore Customs manning the Tax Refund Counter to Retail Assistant with Cheeky Baby & Kids (Jan 04 - Jan 06) then to Finance Executive Assistant with Yayasan Mendaki (Feb 06 - Nov 07)
Now, with Schawk Asia Pacific Pte Ltd - an advertising & branding MNC as their Receptionist. Proud that the management had embraced my initiative to produce an in-house weekly newsletter called Entertainment-Weekend Weekly, work is no longer boring with just answering phone calls and receiving guests. There are plenty of opportunities here to prove your worth if you aren’t afraid to show what you can do.
Dee & Sue Homemade Cookies:
It all started in the year 2000, when me & Kak Su decided to try our luck in getting some income for our hobby. Eight years now and I don’t think I will stop…YET! I am more of a cake expert than a cookie expert, but all the same, Biskut Cocoa has been our family’s trademark cookie. You can never taste the same anywhere!
So don’t be shy, come on in and see what’s on our CATALOGUE. (coming soon!)
Studies:
Had taken Advance Diploma in Mass Communication with MDIS in 2005. I doubt that I will pursue my degree now as I am typing. I was interested in counselling, psycology and of course advertising, journalism. Must I banish all my interests? Not necessarily, my love for writing & journalism is practised everytime I blog, and every week when I produce my company’s in-house newsletter. As for advertising, well - every year for eight years now have been advertising Dee & Sue Homemade Cookies!
